You can read about some of our recent commercial projects below.

RAdata’s commercial installation team has been specially trained in all aspects of commercial installation of vapor barriers, vapor mitigation systems, and radon mitigation systems, including product specific installation and safety.

We are OSHA compliant (including NYC renewals), certified for radon mitigation with the NRPP (National Radon Proficiency Program), NJ, PA, and NY, and have worked on projects with agencies such as EPA (Environmental Protection Agency), HUD (Housing and Urban Development), HPD (Housing Preservation Development), and DOL (Department of Labor).

COMMERICAL WATER TREATMENT (NJ)

This commercial water treatment system was installed by RAdata for the treatment of elevated Arsenic, Hardness, Sodium, Chloride, and Total Dissolved Solids (TDS). The customized system is comprised of a commercial grade Reverse Osmosis rated at 5,000 Gallons per Day with high flow HF5 membranes, a pH Neutralizer, a carbon filter, a 64,000 grain Water Softener and a 2-tank Arsenic Reduction System.

Prior to installation, the main complaint the occupants had with the water was that it would cause milk to curdle when they were making coffee. The total dissolved solids prior to the treatment system were measured at 1500 TDS! That is three times the EPA drinking water standard of 500. After treatment the TDS levels were reduced to 66 the tap. You can use our site to Diagnose your Own Water or learn about different types of Water Treatment Systems.

HOTEL VAPOR MITIGATION SYSTEMS (NY)

These four (4) Radata vapor intrusion mitigation systems (VMS) are installed internally at an 11-story, 300+ room Boutique Hotel in Manhattan, New York for indoor air quality. The four exhaust fans are located on the roof and there are special decals applied to the roof surface to designate a labeled exhaust safety area for contractors and maintenance staff. There are visual and audible alarms installed to alert maintenance staff should any of the four systems require attention. You can read more about Vapor Mitigation Systems here. (Note: At the time of this photograph, the electrical connection was not yet made by Building Owner’s electrician).

APARTMENT BUILDING VAPOR MITIGATION SYSTEMS (NY)

This vapor mitigation system (VMS) is one of two installed by RAdata at a new HDC (NYC Housing Development Corporation) financed low-income housing apartment building in Brooklyn for indoor air quality. The exhausts are located on the roof and the yellow labels are special decals applied to the roof surface to designate a labeled exhaust safety area for contractors and maintenance staff. SCHOOL BUILDING VAPOR BARRIER INSTALLATION (NY)

This photograph shows the application of a Cetco Liquid Boot® vapor barrier system. The vapor barrier application consisted of 13,000 square feet, and included application to both horizontal and vertical surfaces. Liquid boot is a cold, spray-applied, water-based membrane containing no VOCs, which provides a seamless, impermeable barrier against vapor intrusion into structures. The Liquid Boot vapor barrier system is applied over the sub-slab aggregate prior to pouring the concrete foundation. You can read more about Liquid Boot and other types of Vapor Barriers here.
