NJ DEP adds new parameters to NJ PWTA Test for Home Sales/Rentals

The Department of Environmental Protection has adopted amendments to the New Jersey Private Well Testing Act rules that became effective September 4, 2018:

Uranium testing has been added to the PWTA requirements for the Northern Counties (Bergen, Essex, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Morris, Passaic, Somerset, Sussex, Union, and Warren Counties).

Expanded (Statewide) testing for Gross Alpha and Arsenic also takes effect. (Gross Alpha testing expanded to add: Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Morris, Passaic, Somerset, Sussex, Union and Warren Counties. Arsenic testing expanded to add Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Monmouth, Ocean and Salem Counties).
